Jenna graduated from Purdue University School of Nursing in December 2015 with distinction. As a student, she was a Purdue University Student Nurse Fellow at IU Health Arnett. After graduation, she worked at IU Health Outpatient Pediatrics while pursuing her Master’s Degree as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Jenna served as the coordinator for Education & Training/Simulation Lab during her years working as an Air Force medic, helping to prepare active duty troops for deployment. This experience inspired her to become an educator, leading her to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Jenna is thrilled to be back at her alma mater, educating future nurses. She currently teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels and is involved in various aspects of nursing education, including health policy evaluation, health promotion, and mental health.
