Biography

Jenna Jordan is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Political Science from Stanford University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Mills College. Previously, she held a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. Her book, 'Leadership Decapitation: Strategic Targeting Terrorist Organizations,' published by Stanford University Press, evaluates the efficacy of leadership targeting in counterterrorism strategy. Dr. Jordan's research focuses on terrorism, political violence, international security, cybersecurity, wargaming, organizational theory, leadership, and statecraft. Her work has been published in prominent journals such as International Security, Security Studies, and the Journal of Cybersecurity. She has received research support from several organizations, including the University of Chicago and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
