Biography

Jennifer Alyono completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and her master’s degree in Bioengineering at Stanford University. She later attended the University of California, San Diego, for medical school and completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford, followed by a fellowship in Otology/Neurotology skull base surgery. Clinically, Dr. Alyono specializes in adult and pediatric surgery for disorders of the middle ear, inner ear, facial nerve, and skull base, including managing conditions such as hearing loss, tympanic membrane perforations, cholesteatoma, glomus tumors, and vestibular schwannomas. Her research interests focus on hearing, population health, quality of care, and the integration of technology in medicine. Currently, she serves as the Associate Residency Program Director and Associate Clinic Operations Chief for the Stanford Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Alyono has been recognized with several awards, including the Fellow Teacher of the Year at Stanford University in 2018 and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society membership.
