Biography

Jennifer K. Bando is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Stanford University. She is a member of the Baxter Foundation Faculty Scholar program and has received several honors, including the Pathway Independence Award from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. After completing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, she pursued postdoctoral research at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interests focus on mucosal immunology and innate lymphocytes. In addition to her research, she is actively involved in teaching and guiding doctoral students, serving in various capacities, including as a doctoral dissertation reader and advisor.
