Biography

Jennifer Susan Brasch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She specializes in Addiction Psychiatry and has been a member of the Mental Health & Addictions Program at St. Joseph’s Healthcare since July 1997. Dr. Brasch completed her fellowship in Emergency Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Brasch is also a member of the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMCR) and the Peter Boris Centre for Addictions Research (PBCAR), contributing extensively to the fields of psychiatry and addiction medicine. Her work focuses on improving mental health treatments and understanding the complexities of addiction.
