Biography

Jennifer Davis joined UBC Okanagan as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Management in 2017. Her career goal is to improve health outcomes for Canadians through applied health economic evaluation research. Dr. Davis's research focuses on conducting economic evaluations alongside randomized controlled trials, specifically analyzing cost-effectiveness and cost-utility in various clinical settings such as falls, fractures, and cognition. A core part of her research program includes exploring health outcomes related to patient-reported outcome measures in the fields of healthy aging, cognition, mobility, and surgical outcomes. Additionally, Jennifer is the co-director of the Falls Prevention Clinic at Vancouver General Hospital, where she collaborates on initiatives to implement proven cost-effective interventions for high-risk older adults in British Columbia. She serves as an associate editor for the British Journal of Sports Medicine, further contributing to the academic community.
