Dr. Jennifer Feden

Biography

Jennifer Feden is a practicing attorney at Ballard Spahr LLP, specializing in the Real Estate Department. She has significant experience assisting clients with various transactional real estate needs, particularly in landlord-tenant leasing across retail, office, and industrial sectors. During her time at Ballard, she has represented businesses, real estate investors, developers, and lenders in complex real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial and multifamily properties. Additionally, Jennifer has experience representing clients in the real estate aspects of corporate transactions, including large, high-profile mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Jennifer received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and her M.P.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute of Government, where she also served as an editor for the Journal of Law and Social Change. Before law school, she worked as a Development Officer for the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, a nonprofit organization focused on First Amendment issues in the nation’s colleges and universities. She graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University.
