Biography

Jennifer Gandhi is a Professor at Yale University in the Department of Political Science and the Jackson School of Global Affairs, where she also serves as Deputy Dean. Her research interests lie in comparative politics and political economy, with a particular focus on authoritarian regimes and transitions to democracy. Gandhi has authored award-winning books, including 'Political Institutions under Dictatorship', and has published articles in leading political science journals, such as the American Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Politics.
