Biography

Jennifer Hasler received B.S.E. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Arizona State University in August 1991. She obtained her Ph.D. in computational neural systems from the California Institute of Technology in February 1997 and later earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2020. Hasler is a Regents Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where she founded the Integrated Computational Electronics (ICE) laboratory. Her research focuses on Analog-Digital Signal Processing, Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits, scaling deep submicron devices, and the development of large-scale Field Programmable Analog Arrays (FPAA). Over the years, she has received several awards, including the 2011 Georgia Tech Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Advisor Award and the 2002 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award. In addition, Hasler has been recognized for her contributions to the field of neural engineering through various honors and awards and has been a member of notable engineering organizations such as Tau Beta Pi and IEEE.
