Experienced epidemiologist and methodologist leading studies on women's health and health inequalities. As a Senior Research Fellow at Kellogg College, I serve as principal investigator on grants investigating the risks associated with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) use, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). My research focuses on quantifying disparities in HRT prescribing within the UK, aiming to identify socioeconomic and ethnic disparities linked to health outcomes such as breast, endometrial, and ovarian cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia, osteoporosis, and all-cause mortality related to HRT use. I lead work packages for NIHR-funded programme grants concerning the safety of medication during pregnancy, leveraging my expertise in analyzing large electronic healthcare datasets (including CPRD and QResearch), conducting meta-analysis, and managing UK-based international multicentre clinical studies and qualitative data collection and analysis.
