Dr. Jennifer Howell

Biography

Jennifer Occhipinti Howell is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University. She is recognized for her comprehensive care in Obstetrics and Gynecology, addressing primary healthcare throughout the female life cycle, including prenatal care and gynecologic services. Her commitment to serving as an administrator, educator, and clinician shines through her leadership roles in medical education, notably as Vice Chair of Education for the Department of OBGYN. Howell established the Menopause Specialty Clinic in 2016, offering specialized care for women undergoing menopause, particularly those affected by breast cancer. She also specializes as a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist, providing essential care to patients across the Southeast who face complex gynecologic conditions. Additionally, she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to enhance educational opportunities and improve care for her patients.
