Biography

Jennifer Ng is an Adjunct Lecturer at Queen's Law with a legal career spanning various areas of civil litigation. She specializes in defamation cases, SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) motions, summary judgment motions, contested estates, and contract dispute resolutions. In her role as a prosecutor in Ontario, she navigates complex legal issues while representing the public interest. After earning her undergraduate degree in pharmacy from the University of Toronto, Jennifer obtained her law degree from Queen's University, where she graduated on the Dean's Honour List in 2013. She is distinguished as a recipient of various awards, including the Dean's Bronze Medal for highest academic standing in her year of law studies, the McCarthy Tetrault Prize, and the David Sabbath Prize in Taxation. In addition to her academic pursuits, Jennifer actively engages with the legal community as a speaker at events organized by the Frontenac Law Association’s Young Lawyer’s Panel and the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division.
