Biography

Jennifer Parr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. Growing up in a small town in New Brunswick, she completed her medical degree at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. After completing her residency at Mount Brydges while working in rural family medicine, she decided to settle in the area. Since 2002, Dr. Parr has been practicing comprehensive family medicine that includes office-based care, inpatient care, nursing home care, and home-based palliative care. In 2002, she joined the Southwest Middlesex Health Centre, where she became the Centre Director in 2020. Dr. Parr has also served as the Rural-Regional Program Director for Family Medicine at Western University and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Thames Valley Family Health Team. Through her commitment and service, she continues to impact family medicine in Southwestern Ontario.
