Biography

Jennifer Ruth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School, where she also holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine. In her role, she serves as the wellness director for the Division of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed her pediatric internship at the University of Colorado, followed by a dermatology residency at Baylor. After completing her fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the University of Colorado/Children's Hospital Colorado, she returned to her hometown of Austin in 2018. Since then, she has been actively involved in the Division of Dermatology as a clinical educator and enjoys teaching future physicians. Her clinical interests include hyperhidrosis, birthmarks, psoriasis, and surgical procedures, particularly laser surgery.
