Biography

Jennifer Siegel specializes in modern European diplomatic and military history, focusing on the British and Russian Empires. She is the author of several significant works, including 'Peace Money: French British Finance Service Tsars Commissars' published by Oxford University Press in 2014, and 'Endgame: Britain, Russia Final Struggle Central Asia' from I.B. She teaches classes that cover European diplomatic and military history from the nineteenth to the twentieth centuries, international relations, comparative empires, modern intelligence history, the origins of wars, and the history of oil. Her current research projects include exploring diplomacy during World War I, investigating the Rothschilds' influence on the early Russian oil industry, and a book examining civilian intelligence in occupied Belgium during the war.
