Biography

A/Prof. Jennifer Zenker is Group Leader at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI), Monash University, Melbourne, with expertise in cell biology and regenerative medicine. After completing her PhD in Neurobiology at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, where her thesis was awarded the Amicitia Excellence Prize, she undertook postdoctoral studies at the A*STAR Singapore Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Australia. Zenker received the prestigious Human Frontier Science Program Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2015. Her research focuses on live imaging of cytoskeletal dynamics and their implications in mammalian embryonic development. In addition to her research contributions, she has been a competitive triathlete, achieving notable accolades such as the Multisport World Championship title in 2024 and multiple silver medals at the 70.3 Ironman World Championships.
