Biography

Jenny Bavidge is a University Senior Lecturer and Academic Director at the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) at the University of Cambridge. She is also a Fellow of Murray Edwards College. She completed her BA in English Literature and Language at Worcester College, Oxford, and her MA at Royal Holloway, University of London. She wrote her PhD on representations of urban space in the contemporary novel, which she completed in 2001. Prior to her current role, she was a Lecturer at the University of Greenwich, where she became a Senior Lecturer before joining the Institute of Continuing Education in 2011. She is currently the Vice-President of the Literary London Society and is a member of the English Faculty’s Contemporaries group.
