Dr. Jenny Hu

Biography

Dr. Jenny Hu is a Clinical Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and advanced skin cancer surgeries and serves as the Chief of the Division of Mohs Dermatologic Surgery in the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Hu is a board-certified dermatologist with specific expertise in treating aggressive skin cancers, including melanoma and high-risk squamous cell carcinoma. Her research interests focus on melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, as well as racial and ethnic disparities in skin cancer treatment outcomes, particularly in immunocompromised populations. In addition to her clinical duties, she is actively involved in various medical committees at both regional and national levels and often contributes to medical conferences through lectures. Dr. Hu completed her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles, and pursued her residency and fellowship in Dermatology at the same institution. Over the years, she has received several awards including the USC Care Gold Star Provider in 2024, and has been recognized as a top doctor by Los Angeles Magazine and Castle Connolly for multiple years.
