Jens Nielsen is a Full Professor in Systems Biology at Chalmers University of Technology. He earned his MSc in Chemical Engineering and PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the Danish Technical University in 1989. He has received numerous awards, including the Nature Mentor Award and the ENI Award, and is an elected member of several prestigious academies, including the National Academy of Engineering and the American Academy of Microbiology, reflecting his significant contributions to science and engineering.
