Biography

Jeremiah Buckley studied undergraduate degree mathematics and physics at University College Cork and obtained a PhD from Universitat de Barcelona in 2013 under the supervision of Xavier Masaneda and Joaquim Ortega-Cerdà. He has held post-doctoral positions at Tel Aviv University and King's College London as well as ICMAT in Madrid. In September 2017, he re-joined King’s College London as a Lecturer. His research interests include random holomorphic functions, Gaussian processes, nodal sets, and Laplace eigenfunctions, as well as Bergman-Fock-type spaces. He has contributed to peer-reviewed journals with significant articles focusing on variances in zeroes of stationary Gaussian processes and the properties of Gaussian analytic functions among various other topics. Buckley is actively involved in workshops and conferences related to his research area.
