Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Jeremie Giraud. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Jérémie Giraud is a geophysicist with a focus on integrating geo-disciplines. He completed his MSc. in Geophysics at the School Observatory of Earth Sciences at the University of Strasbourg, France, and spent several years at Schlumberger in Milan, Italy, where he gained expertise in joint inversion and developed methodologies for integrated reservoir modeling. In 2018, Jérémie completed his PhD at the Centre for Exploration Targeting (CET) at the University of Western Australia. His research concentrated on integrating geological modeling with petrophysical data and geophysical inversion. Jérémie has been awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, allowing him to join the RING Team (Research Integrative Numerical Geology) at the National School of Geology, collaborating with academic and industry consortia to advance his work. As of January 2025, he will return to CET as a recipient of an Industry Fellowship in partnership with the Australian Research Council and the Geological Survey of Western Australia, furthering his collaboration with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. His current project focuses on developing exploration techniques and geophysically acceptable models constrained by geological and petrophysical data.
