Biography

Dr. Jeremy Ng is an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine. He completed his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and pursued an emergency medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at a combined program at Pennsylvania Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Ng has a strong professional interest in sports performance, long-term athlete development, concussion management, and curriculum development. He has worked extensively with professional athletes and elite student-athletes at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, serving as their team physician. In addition, Dr. Ng has been the team physician for the United States Soccer Federation during the 2017 FIFA Men’s Under-17 World Cup and at various CONCACAF championships. He has received accolades such as the Athletic Trainers’ Association Florida’s Sports Medicine Person of the Year Award in 2018 and was recognized with the Award of Excellence in Education from the UCLA Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Ng has lectured extensively on topics related to sports medicine at a national level and holds coaching certifications from USA Track & Field.
