Biography

Jeremy Noble earned a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Master's degree in Kinesiology, focusing on how people adapt their walking patterns with weights placed on their legs. He pursued his PhD at the University of Waterloo, where he used computer simulations to examine the control of human walking. During his doctorate, he worked at the Rehabilitation Research Lab at the University of British Columbia as a post-doctoral fellow. At UBC, he focused on using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to examine brain activity during motor tasks involving the hand and lower limb. During his time at UBC, Jeremy gained experience working with clinical populations, including individuals who have experienced strokes and spinal cord injuries. He is interested in applying his extensive experience in biomechanics and motor control to collaborate on various projects in Kinesiology.
