Biography

Prior to joining Warwick Business School in 2012, Jerker Denrell was a Professor of Strategy and Decision Making at the University of Oxford and an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research examines the implications of learning and decision-making strategies within organization theory. He has published widely on topics such as behavioural strategy, persistence in performance, and organizational learning in leading journals including Psychological Review, Science, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, among others. At Warwick, he received the teaching award for 'Outstanding Contributions to Masters Programs' for four consecutive years. Originally from Sweden, Jerker studied philosophy, economics, and management at Lund University and mathematics at Stockholm University, ultimately earning his PhD from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1998.
