Biography

Jeroen Voeten is a Full Professor in the Electronic Systems group of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He is also a research fellow at the Embedded Systems Institute in Eindhoven. His research interests include formal techniques for specification, design, and implementation of hardware/software systems. He participates in the Artist Network of Excellence in Embedded Systems Design and the Execution Platforms cluster. Voeten’s work focuses on computer systems, architectures, networks, software, algorithms for control systems, performance modeling, and embedded high-tech systems. He is particularly skilled in research and development (R&D), computer science engineering, and cyber-physical systems performance engineering. Currently, he is involved in the Carm 2G project with ASML, aiming to develop a model-based engineering environment to improve the development efficiency and performance of embedded control systems for wafer scanners. Voeten has authored or contributed to 87 conference reports, 13 academic reports, 11 book chapters, and 11 journal articles. He enjoys working at the intersection of research and innovation to improve industrial products and design processes through cutting-edge model-based design methodologies.
