Before joining the Faculty of Philosophy at Université Laval, Jérôme Gosselin-Tapp completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Philosophy at Queen's University. He received his doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa in 2021. He also holds a master's degree in Philosophy and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Montreal. He co-authored the book 'La nation pluraliste' with Michel Seymour, published by the University of Montreal Press in 2018, which won the Canadian Philosophy Association Book Prize in 2019. His recent work, 'Refonder l’interculturalisme', was published by the University of Montreal Press in 2023. His current research focuses on ethnocultural justice, the political philosophy of the environment, and methodology in applied political philosophy. He is responsible for the research axis in political, social, and economic ethics at the Institute of Applied Ethics at Université Laval (IDÉA) and is co-director of the Political Philosophy Laboratory (LPP).
