Biography

Jerry White currently serves as Professor Emeritus in the Department of Sociology at Western University. He has a rich academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Sociology from McMaster University, along with an M.A. in Sociology and a B.A. with Honors in Political Science and Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Throughout his career, White has held several prominent positions at Western University, including Acting Director of First Nation Studies and Senior Advisor to the Vice President of the Senate. Notably, he serves as Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of the International Indigenous Policy Journal and has been active in community service as Vice Chair of the London Community Foundation.
