Biography

Jeseth Delgado Vela joined Duke University as an Assistant Professor in August 2023. His work focuses on leveraging environmental biotechnology to improve urban water infrastructure. He has received the Ford Foundation Dissertation Award in 2016, been named an Early Career Research Fellow by the Gulf Research Program in 2022, and awarded the NSF CAREER Award in 2022.
