Biography

Jesika S. Faridi earned a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis in 1995 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology from Loma Linda University in 2000. She completed four years of postdoctoral training at Stanford University School of Medicine's Department of Molecular Pharmacology in 2004 and joined the University of the Pacific that same year. Dr. Faridi is passionate about teaching physiology and cancer biology, emphasizing the importance of quality education and advancing research interests in insulin signal transduction and breast cancer. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society, the American Physiological Society, and the American Association for Cancer Research. Additionally, she is dedicated to promoting science education in the community through participation in science education programs and mentoring local science fair projects.
