Biography

Jesse Bruhn is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Brown University. He holds affiliations with the Annenberg Institute, Wheelock Educational Policy Center, Blueprint Labs, Brown University Population Studies and Training Center, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. As a labor economist, his research focuses on the economics of education and crime. He earned his Ph.D. from Boston University. Prior to his academic career, he served as a life economist and spent four years as an active-duty enlisted soldier in the United States Army. He also worked as a Mathematics Educator in the public school system in Springfield, MA.
