Biography

Jessica Barber, Ph.D. is the Associate Director of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) national Measurement Based Care Mental Health Initiative. With years of experience training psychologists and medical professionals, her current focus is on developing educational tools and resources to facilitate the implementation of Measurement Based Care within the VHA enterprise. As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Barber specializes in Clinical Health Psychology. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University, within the Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, where she actively participates in the training of professionals associated with the Yale University VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Dr. Barber earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis on Clinical Health Psychology, from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in 2008. Her academic journey also includes a Master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Fairfield University. She remains committed to enhancing mental health care through her work and collaborations.
