Biography

Jessica Gadea is a Latinx woman and first generation law school graduate specializing in inclusive and progressive social justice. She brings a trauma-informed and healing lens to her work as a legal clinic lawyer. With a LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where she received honors such as James Kent Scholar and Public Interest Honoree, Jessica founded the Restorative Justice Collective to create opportunities for students to engage in reflective and interdisciplinary legal practice. She emphasizes the transformative nature of legal clinics for students learning to navigate the law amid systemic violence and oppression in communities.
