Biography

Jessica Huynh is an Assistant Lecturer at the Korean Studies Research Hub of Monash University. She has previously served as a research fellow at various respected institutions and has published a translated book titled 'The Moonlight Cafe - 한 밤중 달빛 식당', which was part of the AKS Core Universities Project in Vietnam. Huynh earned her master's degree from Yeungnam University and her Ph.D. from Sejong University, both located in Korea. Currently, she is pursuing her academic path while also teaching at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Technology (HUFLIT) in Vietnam. She has taught at prestigious institutions including Seoul National University and the University of Melbourne. Moreover, Huynh has been involved in translating various works, supported by the Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea). Her active projects include leading the Monash Korean Studies Beyond Borders initiative, aimed at creating a global hub for diverse Korean studies.
