Biography

Jessica Illuzzi is the Deputy Dean for Education and holds the title of Harold W. Jockers Professor at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her MD at Harvard Medical School in 1998 and a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from Yale in 2006. Her research focuses on the use of obstetric interventions and their impact on maternal and neonatal outcomes, particularly among low-risk women. She is also an advocate for enhancing educational experiences for students and faculty at Yale School of Medicine.
