Biography

Jessie Kang is a Cardiothoracic Radiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology there as well. Following her residency, Dr. Kang pursued a Cardiothoracic Fellowship at the University of Ottawa and the Ottawa Heart Institute. Her research interests primarily focus on the effects of marijuana smoking on lung health and large vessel vasculitis. Dr. Kang currently resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she balances her professional career with family life, including her husband and a lively three-year-old child.
