Dr. Jette Led Sørensen

Biography

Jette Led Sørensen is a professor and consultant obstetrician gynecologist at the University of Copenhagen, where she focuses on interprofessional learning and simulation-based medical education. She holds a PhD from Maastricht University and a Master of Medical Education from the University of Dundee. Her research primarily revolves around interdisciplinary education for healthcare professionals and includes topics such as age-appropriate communication, play as a communication method in healthcare, and the experiences of children and adolescents in medical settings. She has a strong background in gynecology and obstetrics, applying her expertise in various educational projects affiliated with Mary Elizabeth Hospital at Rigshospitalet. Jette is the program director for the Master’s in Health Sciences at the University, which is designed to enhance the academic qualifications of nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, and other health professionals. Her work includes several PhD projects aimed at developing effective interventions in the medical field.
