Biography

Dr. Jia Wang received her Ph.D. in Human Resource Organizational Development from the University of Georgia in 2004. She joined the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University as an Assistant Professor in 2007 and has since contributed significantly to curriculum design and teaching graduate courses in the educational human resource development program. Her research addresses critical contemporary issues in Human Resource Development, focusing on dimensions such as international/national cross-cultural HRD, workplace learning, organizational crisis management, workplace incivility, and career/family issues. Dr. Wang has published 55 peer-reviewed journal articles, 1 book, and 9 book chapters, delivering over 160 presentations at national and international research conferences. She is also a recognized mentor, having guided 35 Ph.D. dissertations and over 130 Master's theses. Her contributions to the field have been acknowledged through multiple prestigious awards, including the Texas A&M University Presidential Impact Fellow.
