Dr. Jianguo Lu

Biography

Jianguo Lu is a professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanjing University. His research interests include Deep Web, Deep Learning, Sampling-Based Algorithms, Online Social Networks, and Text Graph Mining Algorithms. With a strong academic background, Prof. Lu has held visiting scholar positions at prestigious institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Tokyo, and the University of Toronto. He has contributed to numerous publications in leading journals and conferences, exploring various aspects of data engineering and graph sampling techniques. His work aims to advance the understanding and application of complex data structures in real-world scenarios, particularly in enhancing information retrieval and processing. Through these efforts, he strives to bridge theoretical research with practical applications in the field of computer science.
