Biography

Jianying Zhou is a professor and the centre director of iTrust at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He received his PhD in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. His research interests focus on applied cryptography, network security, cyber-physical system security, and mobile wireless security. He is a co-founder and steering committee co-chair of the International Conference on Applied Cryptography and Network Security (ACNS), as well as the steering committee chair for ACM AsiaCCS and a member of the steering committee for Asiacrypt. He has been recognized as an IEEE Fellow and an ACM Distinguished Member. In 2020, he received the ESORICS Outstanding Contribution Award for his significant contributions to the community.
