Biography

Jiating Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba. Originally from Southeast China, Jiating completed undergraduate studies at Zhejiang University before pursuing a Master’s degree and PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she spent six years. After earning her PhD in 2023, she engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her work includes high-throughput plant phenotyping, agricultural automation, and robotics, utilizing physics-guided artificial intelligence methodologies.
