Biography

Jihye Jung is a Research Engineer II at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. She obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial Management Engineering from Korea University in 2022, following a Master’s degree in the same field in 2017 and a Bachelor’s degree also from Korea University in 2015. Her research interests lie in mathematical optimization, supply chain management, scheduling, transportation, and quantum computing. Currently, she is a member of the Physical Internet Center, focusing her research on hyperconnected distributed construction and advanced optimization methods.
