Dr. Jill Chouinard

Biography

Jill Anne Chouinard is a professor in the School of Public Administration at the University of Victoria. Her interdisciplinary scholarship is informed by anthropology, cultural studies, feminism, critical theory, and social geography, significantly shaping her research interests in culture, equity, and social justice. With a focus on culturally responsive approaches to program evaluation, she has conducted extensive evaluation work within diverse community settings, particularly in the areas of education, social services, and public health. As an evaluation catalyst, she emphasizes collaboration, learning, and equity in community change initiatives. Additionally, she serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation and continues to publish widely in her field.
