Biography

Jim Erskine is a Professor Emeritus at Ivey Business School, Western University. He obtained a B.E.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering in 1965 and an MBA in 1967 from Western University. In 1973, he completed his doctorate in Organizational Behaviour at Indiana University in Bloomington. Erskine has extensive teaching experience, specializing in Operations Management and leading various executive education programs. He served a leave of absence from Ivey in 1988-89 to act as Dean at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan. Over the years, he has designed and conducted training and development programs for numerous Canadian corporations, universities, and government agencies. His international teaching engagements span several countries including the United States, China, and various countries across Europe and Latin America. His research interests focus on management challenges and operational level issues surrounding implementation.
