Biography

Jimmy Ehnberg has an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Lunds Institute of Technology at the University of Lund, obtained in 2001. He earned his Licentiate and Ph.D. degrees from Chalmers University in 2003 and 2007, respectively. Currently, he serves as a Teaching Fellow in the Electric Power Engineering program. His research interests include distribution grids and the integration of renewable energy sources into the electrical grid. Jimmy is also the co-founder of STEEP-RES, a multidisciplinary research group focused on renewable electricity production and the development of autonomous grids for use in developing countries. Additionally, he heads the Electric Engineering program, overseeing its academic direction and initiatives.
