Jimmy Chia-Shin Hsu is a Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He holds an LL.B. from National Taiwan University and both an LL.M. and J.S.D. from the University of Chicago. He has authored numerous journal articles and edited volumes, with notable publications including "Human Dignity in Asia: Dialogue, Law, and Culture" published by Cambridge University Press in 2022, and "Ethics of Historical Memory: Transitional Justice and Overcoming the Past" (in Chinese) published by National Taiwan University Press in 2024. He teaches intensive courses on topics such as Human Rights and the Intersection of Human Dignity and East Asian Constitutional Law.
