Biography

Jin-Wen Yu is a renowned choreographer and professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Dance Department, holding the title of Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor. His works have been critically acclaimed in major newspapers for their artistic merit and impact, reflecting his mastery in the dance field. He has received numerous awards and grants, showcasing his significant contributions to the arts. Dr. Yu earned his EdD in Dance from Temple University and an MFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, complementing his rich academic and creative endeavors.
