Biography

Jin Cho earned a PhD in Computational Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Prior to joining CORE, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate and graduate research assistant at the Center for Urban Informatics Progress at UTC. At CUIP, Jin engaged in various projects that analyzed medical claims data, deploying machine learning (ML) models to predict hospital discharge disposition and 30-day hospital readmission status, thereby improving quality of care and stroke management outcomes for patients. With a passion for applying his expertise in ML and data science to make significant contributions to healthcare, Jin is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and exploring diverse cuisines and cultures.
