Biography

Jing Jiang received his Ph.D. degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1989. He has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Ontario since 1991 and currently holds the position of NSERC/UNENE Senior Industrial Research Chair. His research interests include fault-tolerant control for safety-critical systems, advanced control in power plants containing non-traditional energy resources, and instrumentation control for nuclear power plants. He is a registered professional engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering.
