Joining Cornell University in 2020, Jingjie Yeo is an Assistant Professor who previously worked as a research scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing in Singapore. He served as co-Principal Investigator developing silk-based cosmeceuticals and collaborated closely with Procter & Gamble on molecular dynamics modeling of keratins and pigment cells. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Tufts University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he conducted extensive multiscale simulations, including density functional theory (DFT) and fully-atomistic coarse-grained molecular dynamics of diverse biomaterials such as squid skin, silk, silk-elastin-like proteins, and graphene. He holds a Ph.D. and Bachelor of Engineering degrees from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
