Dr. Jinhee Kim

Biography

Jinhee Kim is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, with a focus on urban health paradigms and their spatial impacts on human health. She applies research findings to develop real-world transdisciplinary actions that engage stakeholders from both academic and non-academic backgrounds. Her work emphasizes the importance of health equity in urban policy, having previously worked at various levels of government to prioritize healthy cities and health impact assessment tools. Jinhee holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Public Health from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor of Science from Korea University. As Editor-in-Chief of the Urban Health Review and an Executive Board Member of the Korean Academy of Urban Health, she is actively involved in shaping urban health discourse and policies on a global scale.
